The Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise Department on July 09, 2025, launched a comprehensive handbook titled “Know Your Lender, Grow Your Business” (KYL-GYB) to equip MSMEs with essential financial knowledge.
The handbook aims to enhance awareness about credit rights, demystify lending procedures, and improve understanding of the formal financial ecosystem. It compiles key regulatory directions, government instructions, and institutional guidelines in a simple, user-friendly format. By promoting financial literacy and responsible borrowing, the KYL-GYB initiative supports MSMEs in accessing formal finance and contributing effectively to India's economic growth.
